I have always been a huge food lover . When I was a child my mother let me stay in the kitchen where my siblings were kicked out. This fostered my love of food and cooking. I became a certified chef with training from the American Culinary Federation Apprenticeship Program . I went on to work for 3 major Hotel Brands in Atlanta working in every position and shift to learn all aspects of food service . I later went on to be a consultant for a catering company . Though I have not been directly in this field for the last several years I have continued to cook for myself as well as for friends and family . I continue to learn and grow my culinary skills and love to share food with people I meet. Community starts with breaking bread with strangers who later become part of our chosen family !!
