I took an interest in cooking at a very young age. I started checking cookbooks out of my school library at the age of seven and asking my mom to cook some of the things with me. I began cooking and baking more and more as I got older and my skills grew. When I got to high school, my county offered a culinary arts program which I very quickly signed up to do. By the end of my senior year I knew the cooking was my passion and it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I enrolled in a small culinary school in Augusta, Georgia called Helms. I graduated in 2018, as a Certified Culinarian.
