Classes the week of February 21

We still have a few reservations open for this week’s classes.

On Tuesday February 21, we have Soup from Scratch with Chef Jake will feature Brunswick Stew. Come prepare this Georgia comfort food from scratch, with Chef Jake, the Cooking School at Irwin Street’s creator!

On Sunday February 26 we have openings in Chef Hopeton’s Culinary Arts and Excellence class and Knife Skills 2 with Chef Christie.

 

In Chef Hopeton’s class from 2-4 on Sunday February 26, students will be preparing

-Sauteed Shrimp cakes over celery root/chive salad.
– Turkey and rice meatballs in Almond braise.
– Melted strawberry and goat cheese stuffed Croissant w chocolate.

Chef Christie’s class, also on Sunday February 26 at 6 pm,  is an advanced Knife Skills class, continuation of Knife Skills 1, this class includes more advanced vegetable cuts as well as how to cut a chicken and upkeep for your knives. Students are encouraged to bring their own knife sets to the class.
