Title: Mother, May I Make Sauce?
Location: Cooking School at Irwin Street Kitchen
Description: Yes, you may! We will make the five sauces of classical cuisine and consider 21st century applications…you won’t wanna go back to the stuff in a jar. We’ll take stock of stock employing a shortcut or two (who’s got time to brown bones??), use fresh ingredients wherever possible, make a few proteins and vegetables on which to sauce, and enjoy sampling what we made. BYO wine if you wish!
